Urgent Medical Advice

If you feel you need urgent medical assistance today, please call the practice and our trained admin team will do an initial triage of your symptoms and, if appropriate, will add you to the nurse triage list (mornings only up to 9.30am) or seek advice from one of our clinicians thereafter:

  • phone us on 0141 959 6311, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm

Please note your request may result in us directing you to a more appropriate service e.g. the commmunity pharmacy first service.  We will also use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine Appointment

To request a routine appointment:

 

  • phone us on 0141 959 6311, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm
  • Check our online appointment system (registration for this service is required, please seek assistance from our reception team)

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at either of our branches

Appointments by phone, can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • using the GP online systemPatient Access
  • phone us on 0141 959 6311, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

Please note, cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment without a valid reason, may result in a DNA (failure to attend) being recorded on your record.  Continued DNA's will result in your removal from our practice list.  Please make sure to call us and let us know you can't make your appointment.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond (please note that the GP you request may not be available or the most appropriate person to help you)
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible.  Requests made after 10am may result in a visit being arranged for the following day.
